would think with some fabrication it could be figured out how to put a long enough one for taller rigs.
didn't respond yesturday so a notification of a message didn't get your hopes up or distract you from other tasks..... so its a day later now... hope you found something and are back on the road.
Best of luck, Drive Safe.
correct...... and they eye will autonamically drift back to the stimuli and one has to manually over ride that with conscious interactions with neuromuscular system.
I get the engineer stand point which am guessing is your background... stand point am coming from is a from...
missing a few points of reality.. not arguing.... just point's to ponder.
. What is the autonomic response to stimuli of the eye?? to look that direction!.... aka- look will go to the point of highest stimuli...... as in- the bright center of the light.
... Example: when one gets an eye exam...
going by this the 5500 that center white beam would blind the shiat out of me and honestly painful....... 6500 significantly more manageable.
Guess its just my eyes. Been that way all my life. Find oncoming headlights lights just can be very painful.... have enlarged optic nerve foramen...
I forget my own name much less who did what post a year or two ago lol. thanks for your past info. Still prefer head lights that just touch blue. In the spectrum that is easiest on eye strain... particularly after long day .. and then driving into the night.
that would be light years more expensive process,;seems to me ,compared to 2.87's, combination14.0r20 tire and 3.07 (combo results also in approx same ratio as 2.87) or the new gear reduction removal hubs now being sold.
NOTE: unlike typical automotive lights..... LED lights works better to be colored the same (or similar) as the lens in front of them. So get Amber LED for Amber lights, Red for Red lights etc. For Headlights... BLUE-ish White is better for oncoming traffic and is better for driver, for...
you create a way for water to get in. Beside it is not a solid plug of rubber. There is an inner wedges or something to that effect which force the plug to expand as you turn the T handle.
if someone is dead set on making the tube be open... there is not much you can do. All these lockable cap kinda things or a locking box they are re-located to sit in are just deterrents.

they make several sizes. Just pulled this link to show the product. use's small padlock. Though this is made for test point on wells. Not sure...
@serpico760 Rubber plug. How hard would it be to cut the cross off the top and weld or epoxy an upside down 1/4 socket to it?
Make it a 10mm. For once it won't be lost. Unusable..... but not lost.
@ramdough spreadsheet has some locking fuel cap stuff in it.
have not seen these.... wonder if they are just "cooler" looking than the blue ones but essenturally the same?
Agree blue ones are horrible though not sure if they cant be personally improved upon (drop little electronics solder in there before final snap together, dab of electric grease...
thanks..... looks like 330hp obtainable all the way to 380.... in cummins configurations though I think the 380 bumps it to new pump and common rail upgrade.
