On the back wall of the cab, it has about 8 screws holding the cover on. It is not the shift or gear control box.

Check the fuses in the black plastic control box. It is located in the black metal box under the rear window between the seats.

Everyone is correct so far, but the ? Is how is the Mack for power? Mack has a good rep.

Does the out side temp. Have any effect on this? If you have a little to much R134 and the out side temp gets to high it will cause high pressure switch to shut it down. If this is it, it will work as the outside temp goes down.

The m915 a1 grill guard is about 3" shorter and the legs are turned back at the base to accommodate the bumper not sticking out as far on the m915 as it does on the m916,7,8,9,20

It is my opinion that it is age that that determines the tubing shape. Low serial numbers have the round tube guards, later have square.

The m915 a1 guard on my m915 a1 will fit my m915, But not my m916 or m920 as they are different. The m915 did not have a grill guard when built. I did add one to my m915 but it needed a m915 a1 guard as the m916 grill guard would not fit. The grills are all the same but the guards are different.

The m915 a1 grills are the same as all the series grills.

Have towed a number of M916 & 920 as well as 5 tons most of the tows were over 1000 miles with no failures. Like the light weight very much!

M915 a1 grill guards are not the 916 & up guards, and the M 915 had no guard.

The tire appears to be a goodyear 286 which have not made for awhile. Even though it is New it may be defective. As Scar59 said try moving to rear.

I would rotate the tire to a different location to see if it is the tire or location.

Your RV plan should work well. No CDL required, works for me. I do have a CDL, but don't need it for my truck. 19,000 miles in the last 12 months, no weight stations, no logs, and no hassle.

You would be wise to use streetlegal tires. As in 1600r20's there 52" tall.

Pictures of AC pump on 400 big cam. This mount is gov issue. On 250 small cam the A C pump needs to fit around the power steering pump right or left & share the rear belt. Bob
