While ive never been a fan of the front end, you cant argue with the power of the cat and the easy steering. Got any plans for it or is it staying stock? With the non overdrive trans, 395s make the truck run like it should.
Honestly, unless you have found yoourselfstuck in the rig as its built(its not built yet) don't waste your time. A locker fills a very small specific need that can be added at any time. I'd wait and see if its needed.

Im not familiar with a brand other than garwood, got a pic? All the ones on the front of 5tons are the same, save for what drives them(pto shaft or hydraulic).
Why anyone would convert an m35 to 12v is beyond me. Not only would you have to swap out everything electric, youd have to change the wires too.
