Agree, Wrong truck for the job do not mess with the fuel / injection pump. Myself yea I would have gone with mechanical injection, at least 400 hp with Jake brake and manual transmission plus Hendrickson suspension. Also non military but something that parts a readily available.

Think I see your problem. Tan dash / truck, OD colored speedometer.:driver: Run your hubs and see if it changes or you find them too loose / tight. Remember Steve said a minimum of 10 /20. Bet it could be .030 and still be fine. We just do not want them running too hot.

Awesomlmtv Myself I would not only do the hubs but go all the way in and repack inner bearings with grease. You could have a inner bearing / race problem so myself I would not worry about ring gear quit yet.

Would be interesting to try it your way then check same hub with Steve's way. It really is not any trouble Steve's way once you have done one or six.:cool:

Replaced my primary fuel filter to engine fuel line. Was told to make sure it was diesel rated fuel line so drove to Ocala. Nice day for a 30 mile drive.
