RE: Re: RE: detroit locker on m1009 front diff
Yeah, but it'll be slap wore out and need $500 worth of ball-joints, u-joints, carrier bearing, brake rotors, calipers, etc... I shopped for a D60 for a while when I had my M1009 and there were some real turds out there. :)
RE: Re: RE: detroit locker on m1009 front diff
No leads on axles, sorry. The Dana 60's usually sell to the Jeepers, etc... for $1200-1550 so I know what you mean.
Why stop at a deuce. Pick up a M820A2 with a hydraulic lift-gate and expansible van body ;)
The pics are of an A1 and someone has robbed the doors off of it

I don't have any experience with the hydraulic winch kit, just the electric one.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to SS. It's great to have another guy with your vast experience on board. I look forward to seeing you online. Come join us in chat some evening :)
Yeah, I rode in one with DD. I felt like a bad mother, even from the passenger seat. I can only imagine how tough you would feel with a 757 in tow carrying a MBT.
Re: RE: Anyone up at Chambersburg, Pa. this week?
There is a ton of them! I think every member could pick one up. Maybe I'll start giving those out as thank-you's for donating :D Of course you'd have to donate about $500 to get one
Hmmm, that's a tough one Keith. Seeing that CARC is what it is and is resistant to most solvents when dry, you may have to result to a coarse 3M pad and elbow grease. I would think that any solvent tough enough to get CARC off would damage the tires. It may not be evident at first, but I...
Hmmm, definitely worth looking into. Thanks Kenny.
I would like to see some pics after you get back up there Frank. Was the hard top model a multi-fuel 543 also?
