I hope you realize that the M1009 can pull the trailer, but that's pretty much it. If you load the trailer you'll exceed the tow capacity of the M1009 bumper mounted pintle hook.
I pulled mine home today with my M1009 but I also got a riser and pintle to mount on my Hemi Jeep.
The pick-up & pull home was uneventful for the most part.
I got to the yard and spotted my trailer sitting alone. I dropped the trailer lunette into the pintle and the pintle wouldn't close. Seems my pintle was cocked a little to the left and no matter how I tried to manhandle it into the...
So I ordered these for whenever I need to move the trailer with a load inside.

Serious overkill but what the heck.
My concern is that the cross sectional dimension of the lunette ring (unknown) was too much for whatever pintle I had last time. (NOTE: I will be recovering the trailer using the M1009 but I need to get the Hemi Jeep set up for pulling it when it's loaded)
This is the drawing for the pintle...
The fuse box on the firewall is a choke point. Do you have power inside the truck anywhere on the panel? If not can the panel be bad? I've never dived that deep, but it sounds like a choke-point problem.
I think the receiver on the C10 is at least a foot higher than my Grand Cherokee, which I used to tow the last one home. I needed all the rise on the riser plate.
I found some in an Astrovan in the junkyard. Front bolt holes align but had to drill the rear holes. Bonus: armrests.
These seats sit up higher than my flattened originals by two inches or so. They also do not slide rearward quiet as far, so they may not work for a taller person. I didn't...
My last one had to be sold because I didn't have any place to put it, but now that we've bought a house I was on the lookout for another. Won one yesterday and will pick up soon.
The last time the trailer pintle bound up and twisted the riser plate I had in my jeep receiver. I think the...
So I can't find anything that says I need to fill out and submit an EUC for the trailer. The auction description says it has a demil code of A and elsewhere:
So that seems to say that I do not need the EUC, however I did have to do and redo the EUC several times the last time I won a trailer...
I won another M1101 trailer this afternoon; for $140 less than my last one (that I had to sell).

Not looking forward to all the drama of getting it registered but at least now I have room to keep it and the M1009 for pulling it home.
This is the old...
lol no jumping but I did have the seat propped up for a while during the move. We just bought a house a mile away from where we were living so it was easy enough to make a lot of little trips with the '09.
My commute to work is seven minutes, there's no way I'll ever move back to that side of the Sound and the traffic nightmare. :x
So today I got some sun again and finished the steering pump. Reconnected the batteries and added more fluid to the pump. Drove it around but the pump was whining...
Should I be nervous about the brakes? The steering i can deal with, but the brake pedal felt spongy.
With it foaming like it is, how do I know if there's enough fluid in there, or too much?
The sun was out all morning while we ran errands but it was clouding up by the time I got home and got my coveralls on. Tightening the power steering pump belt was a puzzler, and the -20 was useless.
"Rotate power steering pump (5) by placing a pry bar between engine and bracket (4), and...
