Did anyone else get a letter from Defense Logistics Agency? I don't remember getting one the last time. It's two pages of warnings and responsibilities that seem to be geared towards exporters.
For a long time I have wanted to build a tool for bleeding brake lines by myself. I figured if I could find some sort of suction apparatus I could do just that. One day while perusing the GL stuff locally, I noticed that there were six gastrointestinal suction devices coming up. I threw down...
The prices these went for today should make you feel a little better Clutzer:

In your original post, in the third and fourth picture, they're stowed on the front of the trailer, held down by some black rubber bungees. The front landing leg is there too, folded underneath.
I'm not sure to which picture you are referring, they all look like good trailers. Looking at the pictures from our sale, the legs appear to all be there.
Here's another one for sale, $5500 Military HMMWV M1101 LTT
Looks like someone got theirs from the same sale, and got them already: (2) 2009 M1101/M1102 Military cargo trailers 1.4 ton payload aluminum
Good luck on the sale!
Fantastic! Thanks for the pictures, it looks like we won't have to do anything to our lights- just use as is.
<strike>Did you pull the landing legs or did yours not come with a set?</strike>
Never mind, I see them in an earlier picture.
Sheesh, does the army know how to assign a condition code? Yours looks exactly like mine, and they coded it F7. Mine is coded B4.
My biggest panic attack will come if I try to pull the trailer and there's something wrong with it, like a locked brake or something.
I spoke to the DRMO folks at Ft Lewis and they didn't seem to have a problem with it.
As an aside, I picked up a set of cheap trailer add-on lights to get it home from Harbor Freight for $20.
Woot! After a couple more corrections my EUC is on its way. I've done one for a GL auction in the past, back when the minimum bid was $50, so hopefully it'll move through the system quickly.
As for the lighting I'm thinking of buying some rubber shell connectors from Erik's and rewiring from...
When I was flying Starlifters we sat through a cockpit voice recording and computer simulation of a C130 that crashed. The crew was doing a max effort climb and when they got too slow the pilot told the engineer, "Takeoff power." The problem was the engineer heard, "Take off power", and he...
Vehicle lighting allows you to see, but also to BE seen. IR lighting and the best nogs in the world won't help you from t-boning someone who didn't see you coming.
UPDATE on my purchase. My EUC got kicked back today. I had to change all the N/A entries to read Not Applicable, sign an Export Letter, and get them a clearer picture of my DL. As a DOD employee myself, I can understand the need for exactness. No, not really.
