    The bracket mounted on the frame cross member is slotted. Try loosening those bolts and adjusting?

    Use the spare tire carrier, plate, and wing nut set up for the bed carrier in a m37. Mounts on front of bed usually but does make it tongue heavy. GoldnEagle has some extra rims with tires I believe.

    I doubt GP would waste the time, $, or effort but the unit that had it before might or the motor pool where it sat might have "borrowed" it to swap some other truck into running condition. Could also have been used as a teaching hands on....

    My advise when using a mechanical oil gauge is to throw away the vinyl tubing and use copper or steel tubing. Don't ask me how I know...... :-(
