I found the seat manufacture ISRI Isringhausen Cage code 62226 in Mi and requested a price on the seat cover in green 929384-00 just for reference. I will post what I find out when they reply.

I triple yes the shock as that is exactly how my m101 was after I picked it up from red river and made a side trip to hot springs. It was not happy at all in the land of hills.
I would also suggest ordering the nylon bushings for the links as I found 2 bad ones when I disassembled.
You could go through the vin thread here and request info. Bumper numbers could be useful and sometimes the vehicle serial is in the inside fender footwells stenciled. Sometimes it can be an alpha numeric like n63t5632 etc
You might have to get the truck to first to "search" it and then...
At-1011 antenna on a tilt adapter with a Harris 100-5154-01 base
Took some time to piece together this antenna mount, base, mast, and accessories.
For now, It is mounted on my right rear but some of the hmmwv have this set up on the rear sides of the fender with 2 more antennas on the rear. It...
That would be the weight of all the components. 3 cages, 2 big brackets, 3 plates, and hardware . Not as much as I would have thought. Front cage I would have guessed around 30lbs.
Could you share info on bulb cost, part number, and supplier. I have a bunch of lights with bad bulbs and this looks like a great solution over those expensive dual element bulbs.
A question for those that have installed the intermediate cage is how easy is it to change the oil filter? Can you reach though the hole(s) to do the oil change or do you unbolt and remove it for service? How easy is to unbolt and drop?
Just trying to decide if I want to go this route?
That trailer I think weighs empty 2900 right under most state limits of 3000 for mandatory brakes on trailer. I think your truck could pull it fine as long as you have a class 3 or better frame hitch. Take it easy and 30 miles on country roads is not a long haul. The trailer will probably be...
check this thread as it has a picture of a truck on its side with I think is the longer a2 cage

Yes, only the parking brake should be engaged with the handles. I did have a problem with a m105 with the same chassis with the brakes locked because of a bad relay valve and air in the tank locking the brakes. Easy fix as there is a small air tank on the bottom. Just open the petcock and let...
If you have excessive pressure in your cooling system, that is a bad sign. Need to check oil for water? Possible head gasket(s) cracked head or block, liner.
Nothing good.
I would strongly advise you to do it on the 5 ton. My truck was incredibly crudy and I could not believe how much brown sludge came out. Even after flushing, I added a coolant filter and change it every year or so. I cut them up and still find brown sludge in the paper pleats. I use a filter...
There are some local rebuilders that still do it.
You can ship it to these folks for rebuild and have it shipped back. They have done other pumps and gears boxes for me over the years I sold parts. Call them and see what they can do for you...
Not sure where you would mount it? Kind of tight in there unlike a 5 ton.
I would say not necessary as long as the system has been thoroughly flushed including heater core and overflow bottle to remove all the crud; then properly refilled with fresh coolant. At least that is what I did and was...
Kind of interesting as I would think this model has the 4l80e with "park" and the parking brake. 2 system failures. Also, the military emphasis wheel chocks. Surprised that a set was not on it as an exhibit.
Someone probably played with the controls........and it was not chocked. Hope this does...
Just fyi on my research. These are not common items used in the automotive industry. Could not find anything like them on the internet or ebay on the search terms I used. Went to an old school automotive upholstery shop here that has been in business 40-50 years and was told they have only seen...
