    Alternator undercharging?

deep cycle batteries are supposed to tolerate the continual charge/discharge cycles as that is what they are designed for. I hear more folks with troubles with optima than I hear good things... You probably have at lease one bad battery(s) Sometimes the chicken and egg dance. Batteries killed...

    Alternator undercharging?

What voltage are you running? Is everything 24v? Batteries need to be at least 12.3+ each and alt if 24v, needs to be 28v off the tip of my head. Need to recharge batteries and make sure they hold load and retest alt output.

I just threw options out there as I thought $6 high. The ones on epay on bulk are around $2. I find kascar very reasonable on some items and high as giraffe parts sometimes 😄

Looking for Rear curtain cam buckles

They are made by Ancra cargo in Ca. Not sure if they sell direct. There is an epay dealer surplustycoon selling lots of 25 & 50. 222541854226. Maybe he would sell a smaller lot? Breton Industries makes the curtains and rear cargo covers presently that use this buckle also. They do sometimes...

    Red River Army Depot

800 going to razor blade heaven.... what a waste and not all are armored up. It would seem to me that some of these armored lmtv/fmtv have value in rebuilding. Tons of soft skinned out there in service needing future replacement. I can't wrap my head around the math. I remember seeing the...

Need Help with Rear Divider Armor Plate

There are many ways to mount the ac unit(s). I have seen brackets that bring the condenser unit over the top, a member (? Infidel got me? ) here cut troop seat uprights short and mounted the condenser unit on on them sideways so the soft cargo top could still be used? I have also seen the evap...

    My New Toy... HMMWV

I am thinking you need less air not more? OE , they were pretty low air pressures on them. Mine are balanced but when first run up on highway speed cold, they like a mile or two to get happy and then settle down just fine.

    My New Toy... HMMWV

8 bolt rims are for bias only. First picture from front shows the tread clearly. They have a different tread pattern with a center rib than the goodyear radial angled blocks on mt Things to look at for bounce is tire pressure, shocks?, worn suspension components?

    My New Toy... HMMWV

Radial rims are 12 bolt for early radials or 24 bolt for later models. The newest are 24 bolt in staggered pattern of 2. Difference is the load capacity. As trucks got heavier with armour, load ratings had to go up. Newest ones are around 14k. Bfg bajas are what I use and very happy with them...

I need to stay away from these auctions...

Military does use the speaker lights. Seems that is the next style they use after the original led truck lites. Mine came with a set on them. Dash switch is probably for convoy amber strobe. Many of the amtech top trucks have a unit installed light.
