I acknowledge RWH has been a valuable member here. Wasn't trying to pick a fight, just a little frustrating that we can't even discuss something which has many legal avenues.

Well my last update was that my SF97 was sent in a batch to USMC on 10/26/22. I decided to be patient and not ask for any updates for 4 months.
Well today I ran out of patience and asked for another update. Guess what? They have my paperwork sitting in their office and it will ship today...
In the case of the NOGO Gen series, yes. For other brands (and some other NOCO models) the answer will vary. Sometimes they require the negative side of each bank to be common, which means it will only work for 12v batteries in parallel.
When in doubt, contact the manufacturer.
Honestly I think that would be annoying if you are sitting at a light and your turn signal turns off because you waited too long.
Keep it manual and simple like everything else on the hmmwv, dont do my thinking for me.
From what I understand, the government owns the rights to the final design, so anyone can make it. The manufacturers were paid through grants to design the vehicles, so they dont own the design.
I'm sure AM General can outsource some of the components back to Oshkosh if that makes sense...
