MEP-803a First Start and Fuel Leak

Howdy, When attached to a existing electrical system, you run 4 wires from the generator. The little bonding strap disengaged. No ground rod. The whole system is grounded by what your panel is grounded to when it was built. 6 AWG THHN is conduit is fine, and is overkill too.

MEP-803a First Start and Fuel Leak

Howdy, I do not think the drip irrigation ones will work. He made that statement thinking about the other lines. You would need to lean towards metric 3.5mm sized tee's. So, a quick one would be VW, Mercedes, Audi, etc... for metric sized tee's. I am sure you could find them out there.

    mep-803 terminal output question

Howdy, Like others have stated, it really depends on what the generator capacity is, how long the run is, what type of wire you want to use. Standard #6 AWG THHN 90C will be fine at 75 amps (4 wires needed, 2 hots, a neutral, and a ground) A flexible type wire cord, like a extension cord...

proud new owner 2010 MEP 803A

Howdy, Nice score. At 29 hours, the unit is not even broken in. You have a PU-798A (MEP-803A on a LTT-TQG high mobility) The trailer is the same as a M1102 heavy, except with panels to place the generator. Since it is a 2010 trailer, all the marker lights are LED and will work fine with 12 volt...

Howdy, Everyone is answering what is reset..... A perfectly performing MEP-803A might not have a defined "Has to have tier 2 reset" timing.
