Howdy,
For safety, you might want to contact a electrician.
4 wires for single phase 120/240 would be 2 hots, 1 neutral, and 1 ground.
Connected to house service panel = you are using the panels grounding system. The ground bonding strap is then removed. With it being removed, you need to have...
Howdy,
What was grounded? Connection to house system requires ground bond bar on generator to be removed. All 4 wires need to be connected. Whatever your doing, all breakers should be off. Double check your wiring. Double check your breakers and panel. Find 1 true breaker after generator is...
Howdy,
That has the ability to charge either way. Charge each battery separately by hooking directly to each battery only. 12v charge.
24v charging would mean hooking the leads to each far end of each battery. The negative hooked to battery #1 and the positive hooked to battery #2. Or, hooked to...
Howdy,
You can if you want. You just need to open each side, charge one battery and then open the other side and charge the other battery.
There are a few different ways.
24v charging thru slave port
A smart charger like the Noco Genius G7200, which does 12 volt and 24 volt stuff.
Or bolt on...
Howdy,
I believe its 3/4"
NSN 4730-00-940-0947 part# MS24519-7 ELBOW,PIPE TO HOSE
You just need a 3/4" pipe to hose barb elbow. The hose is listed being 18 inches. I just installed a 3 ft piece and then cut it to where I wanted. So, the length would drop right into a 5 gal bucket.
Howdy,
There are various ways to charge the batteries. The PulseTech solar chargers are one way. And you also can do a 24 volt charger through the slave port.

welcome to the forums
Howdy,
The frequency/throttle cable civilian replacement thread here gives some good info
http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?158596-MEP-803A-frequency-cable
Howdy,
There is a lot more going on there than I expected too. I was under the impression that it was just simply a common bus bar with sync lights, with a connection switch to put unit 1 and unit 2 online.
Howdy,
I use them here to hook up a 30kw PTO generator
Anderson Power Products. They have various sizes, 50amp, 175amp, 350amp etc.. You double them up for a 4 wire connection.
cable set below is 2/0 welding cable with SB350 plugs
Howdy,
I would suggest you run the unit a bunch before committing to 4x4 lumbar. You will get vibrations, and reverberation sounds which can be more than you need. Others have found by making a pad with dirt, crushed stone, and even rubber stall mats to use as a base. Look over the information...
Howdy,
The fuel return line.
here is a thread http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?139370-MEP-802-803-fuel-return-improvements&p=1780281&viewfull=1#post1780281
Howdy,
Do NOT do that!
That will make it split.
The MEP-803A uses 2 A3816 well nuts. The fuel drain is external which you can easily see. The same principal applies about tightening. Yes, if you have a leak, you will want to drain all the fuel out of your unit. Loosen the fuel drain well nut...
Howdy,
A thread to go though http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?150954-MEP-8xx-series-Replacement-parts
And, since your unit has 10 hours, I would suggest using break-in oil. Look carefully at the oil draining out for water. Water can go in the exhaust and rust everything up.
