Normal X doors and vinyl doors use the same hinge. even the first gen skinned X door used the same (2) single pin hinge top and bottom. different door strike.
I'd just source the correct set of piano style hinged doors that are correct for the truck.
You can take off the piano hinge and install...
So you want to change to less armored doors?
Most people want to change from X doors to what you have.
What you going to do with the up-armored doors?
I now that doesn't really answer your question .

First time I did it on line.
Found the store # closest to me and the store # closest to the guy that's buying it.
Others here just probably go to store and let manager handle it.
I know it has to be palletized.
I got to go take care of a customers gate problem first thing. Then was going to start packing myself . Maybe a last minute drone flight to make sure it's ready for our trip next week if needed.
It is nice to see the guys still having fun without us no matter the speed of the Nova.
I saw that too Will. Even though the green color is kind of funky.
I figured it's the utters on some sort of COWABUNGA.
Maybe they got some kind of keg attached to it.
We definitely have to go back and revisit .
Thanks for the post.
I like the fact that the original style hold down still works.
Are you still using the original lower tray?
What's the difference in pricing if you don't mind me asking?
I'm thinking you need to find a nice Civilian H1 version.
It's a 12 volt system so anyone can instantly jump start you in your group.
And more normal electronic accessories you may want to use will be easier to power up.
It will meet your first post requirements of being different.
Parts are...
Buy a newer one with the 6.5 or 6.5 turbo running the 4l80. they have 200amp dual voltage alternators. Or upgrade an older one.
charge one battery at a time from a 12 volt source.
Install some kind of block heater.
I'm guessing the HMMWV's with the Arctic upgrades may have had something on them.
Outlaw123 I'd suggest you start your own new thread.
I'd also suggest you stop using starting fluid .
Plenty of post regarding starting fluid in previous threads.
Are you mechanically inclined?
I'm not trying to be a smart ass I'm just asking.
If you like wrenching on things and doing your own PM work then you found something that isn't the same as all the other options.
If not I'd stick with the other options.
Food for thought:
It's going to be slower...
Well to answer your question yes it can be done.
Like all the other guys say it's better if you can find one with a 6.5 N/A or 6.5 Turbo and the 4l80 in it already.
To me no point in just trying to add 4l80 to 6.2
When I first did the upgrade from 6.2 w/ 3l80 to 6.5 N/A w/4l80 I tried the...
I'm not following. you say you have 3 military green box TCM's and harnesses. do you mean you just have a small pigtail of wire that's been chopped off the main body wiring harness still attached to the TCM ?
If you plan on running the military TCM you will need to either make a new main body...
I think I remember RWH here on the forum in a different thread mentioning something about having the wires on the IP hooked up correctly.
you might want to double check that or drop him a PM.
Or if your lucky he will see this post and offer a few suggestions.

Yes we have my friend, yes we have.
However the last Dirt Bag was something to remember thanks to "The Recorder"
Remember the Air Drop , and the Drag racing Deuce's, and Hundy and Holes tug a war .
And who could forget the RED POWER RANGER, and the kid that Rode the Lightning TWICE!!!!!.
Good...
I think he is going for Burning Man size fire.
I kind of miss the old Dirt Bag days.
Glad to see Fast Nova and all you guys are still keeping the spirit Alive and Well
