Welcome from Ohio. Bobbed deuces have a lower hauling capacity than a regular deuce because of the missing axle. But they will still haul way more than a 1 ton truck. I think you will love a bobber.- 197thhhc

Your leak may just be the cork plug. But if you are able, pulling the hubs is a great idea. You can check your shoes, wheel cylinders, bearings etc. New seals are less than $70.00 per axle and you will know that everything is ok. (PM me if you need a link to parts). You may also have a... -

I still like the classic look of the 101 and the tilt feature. Does the 1102 tilt? That would be a deal breaker for me. -
