I just picked up some 2x3x3/16 rectangular tubing that i'll be making a headache rack out of mounted to the front of the box so as not to interfear with the tarp. Will be mounting some L.E.D.s to the front of the crossbar. Hauling 800 lb round bales of hay in the bed makes me nervous wiithount...
I think if the oil got warm enough it would move. When i heat in a 55 gallon drum it is incredible the amount of upwelling comming from the bottom. I dont think you could get that much movement with a pump.
I have a fuel pressure guage plumbed into my system. runs up to 55psi when started and running cold, settles to 35 psi when warmed up. Don't know why engine temp makes a difference?
I use a Racor 1000 fuel/water seperator ( one of the best availble) But the price is around $1000 for a new unit. The trick is to find a ship yard or scrap yard with steel hulled boats. Most of them use one or more since they have very large fuel tanks in close proximity to water and...
I think you would want some sort of fuel/water seperator on board. I am always suprized at the amount of water in a good clean looking sample. Take some of your oil and do a hot pan test. to see for your self.

our local carquest can get it. Although i don't have a part number. All of the county plow trucks use it so they stock it on the shelf. As an interesting side note last week my bottle ran out trying to start the m35 in 0 weather. I looked around the barn and found that a cylinder of map gas and...
If you were to use mv's, I would look to hiring drivers/operators off of a site such as this. That way you would get experienced personal who could drive as well as P.M. the equipment.
Your dead on with the sugestion of loc-tite, I run a drilling rig and everything gets blue or red loc-tite, green is great for bearing races. Even though we still put on new split lock washers out of force of habit, they are really worthless.
My advice would be to.... map out your return route and post it. I always see that the members on here go above and beyond to help out other members when it comes to road trips and repairs. I was reading a thread about a member driving to alaska and it was great to see all the commarade with...
