Yes, You are missing the engine lift bracket that bolts onto the engine. Maybe some one will post what it looks like, or you can find a photo of it in the manual.
I think I have one here on the loose somewhere.

Yes, they will fit. At a time you could find the mounts every where. I got one from a guy who was going to make into a mailbox holder! I went a bought him a nice post for his mailbox, and he gave me the mount.

Go to G503.com and post in the armored forum.
Look of the most complete vehicle you can find, parts can be hard to find. My friend who has restored several vehicles said the M3 scout car was the hardest out of all of them.
Good luck, it is a WWII armored vehicle you can drive on the roads...
We have a M274A5 4 wheel steer mule here that we were going to put a 106 recoilless rife on. But after reading about the 4 wheel steer, with the weight of the recoilless rifle, we changes our minds. I was worried about braking axles. I ended up mounting the 106 on a m38A1 jeep (M38A1C).
If your...
John is a great guy. I have bought parts and a cannon from him. I have never returned anything to him because of poor quality, I have returned parts to Vintage Power Wagon that were just junk.
I will go one step further on my trust for John. I have several buildings here full of parts from...
I sold mine for $800 with winch, it was picked up today to go to it's new owner. I posted it as you are buying the winch for $800 and I was throwing in a free parts truck.

I saw the CH53s that were brought in here for rebuild back a few years ago. They also came from the bone yard. They were rough looking, but they were rebuilt back to as new. The Marines also purchased all the Harriers from England when they phased them out. They were broken up for parts to keep...

have you thought about getting a 2nd set of doors (Call them the summer doors) and removing the glass? that would take some of the weight off the doors, and still have a lockable truck. Cut some Plexiglas to place in the window slots when you want complete security.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the army did make a prototype light weight M37. I am going off what is remaining of my brain housing group here so work with me. If I remember right, they tried making light weight doors out of canvas and metal frames. I seen photos of it some where years ago...
The ones that I got close to were Marine ones. Every thing on them was home made, no big money to contractors to make the parts. The roll cage is made of steel plumping pipe, with 90 degree elbows at the corners, the pipe was not bent like on a roll bar. The dash mount was the top 8? inches of a...
two things
First, I had two WC1s in the past and mine also were National Guard trucks. second, for parts I would go with John at Midwestmilitary. The last time I ordered parts for one of my Dodge WC trucks from Vintage Power wagon, they sent me very cheap parts that all were returned. I have...
just a little bit more information on the post from Merry Ole England, the White halftrack, Autocar, and Diamond T are all the same halftrack (like the Ford GPW jeep. and the Willys MB jeep). The M9 halftrack was made by International Harvester and was a deferent halftrack (armor, engine.......)...
Halftracks are still out there in good numbers. The tracks are back in production also, so that is a huge plus! They can be driven on the street without tearing up the road because of the rubber tracks.

A good surprise today for my M38A1C jeep. The garage where I had the 106mm recoilless rife stored/on display while I looked for a good M38A1 to mount the gun on called today. They told me that when I had the gun on display, I also had one of the shells on display with the gun. I forgot all about...
I have two 5 gallon cans of military canvas preserver, if any one here loves the small of canvas, you can have both cans, just pick them up here in Newport.
