That too is also neat. One of the parts dealers in Military vehicles magazine was selling a similar set up a few years back that mounted right up on a full size P/U frame & drive train. Other then the solid axles, the vehicles looked like real HMMWVs. I remember the add but for the life of me...
Hello
Your friend can try these guys. Seem to be the only game in town for Brit armor 'State side. I've used them (ferret Mk.1/2 owner) and they're pretty good. Khaki Corps Imports - Specializing In Importing British Military Vehicles Into the U.S.. I have a pretty good list...
I think it looks cool and like others have said, it (also) looks like it would be a fun toy. Although IMHO, it would look even cooler with taller tires (think: M35 wheels & tires).

Wonder how without the title does the seller expect to sell the vehicle let alone claim ownership? You did (real) good by passing on this can 'o worms. I've purchased Mvs sans title before but they were old enough that we had to cut the tree down to remove the MV from the owner's property...
I don't know as I'm not the one who purchased one from the dealer. Both seller & buyer were over in Europe. Although they really are in great condition, I think buying & then shipping one to this side of the pond would be cost prohibitive. For that kind of money, you could pick one up here and...
Yeas I've always liked the look of them. Should be a fun project. It's interesting that the "replica" aspect of the MV hobby has really taken off in the last 10 years or so. For example look how many WWII German AFVs have been built for show/reenactment purposes...
Thanks for posting. I to also like the troop seats and the way the spares are mounted as well . Looks like the passenger's C1A1 has a 30 round mag from an L4 Bren gun installed.

Make sure the seller has all of the import paperwork so that the vehicle can be titled. Had an experience with this that fortunately, ended well but could have gone in the other direction.

Yes indeed. That pic as previously mentioned, came from over on the www.g838.org website. I (vaugely) remember that particular thread and I think the OP (from g838) posted that thread because he'd purchased one of those trailers for his mutt.

I'm a member over there and I remember the thread that those images came from. Those trailers are at a dealer's wherehouse ( the Neatherlands?) and they are for sale. There were some M100 traiers mixed in with the M416A1s. Wish mine looked as nice as those.

' Think it was in an issue of Popular Science magazine that they had a story about some of the newer tech-stuff the Military was fooling with. The item that stuck out to me was an M113A3 with the same tracks Justin just installed on his XM474 but, with the addition of an electric motor to power...
