JD thanks man... that is exactly what i needed. I now have to teach myself how to replace the terminals on the battery wiring... then i can get these batteries in the truck.
guys... cafepress you can design the shirt put the logo on it... and have people order them off the site. there is no cost to you. if you want to make money mark them up if not list them at cost.
yes have em in my living room... looked at the truck today. holes don't line up so i guess i have to drill. Also the battery terminals started to crumble when i moved the batteries... one project growing again.
also seems there will be some drilling involved as none of the holes seem to line up... can anyone who's installed these trays without the top mounts give me some info?
the front battery tray seems to have too much in the way... looks like i will have to slide the battery into the tray and then mount it to the tray pita
i ordered the mounts from odiron. will be getting them in tomorrow. my stock top mounts are mangled so i'm hoping the lock into the mount adapter will be sufficient to hold the batteries.
welcome to SS, hope your stay here is good. I'll be moving out to OK with my g/f her family is from Pauls Valley. Been out there and fell in love with it.
be very careful when you remove the thermostat housing bolts. other than that there are just 4 bolts into the head 2 on either side. a coolant hose leading to the firewall on the passenger side and the large upper hose to the radiator. Also i found it easier to get the crossover off and out...
you do know there is an entire section of the forums dedicated to alternative fuels and WMO? answer to all your questions is contained within. but as far as i have found the cucv will not work with 100% WMO
