Greetings all,
Just a reminder about the convoy and meeting at the Sheridan airport this weekend. The convoy will start at 9:40 to the airport. See your newsletter or the Indiana MVPA website for lineup info. The meeting will be at 10AM at the airport in the hanger. For those not...
I enjoyed seeing all folks at the show today - a much bigger turnout than last year. Got a lot of good deals today.
Thanks again to all who showed up and to John for opening the place up for us to gather, hang out, and have some fun. And thanks to the Ohio guys for coming over. Its always...
When I initially talked to John, he had said "the normal show days & times" which means Friday setup, Saturday & Sunday are public days. Recalling back to the pre-2009 shows, the hours were always 8AM-5PM though the gate was usually open before that for breakfast runs. Just remember that the...
I've talked to a couple local guys bringing stuff in to sell. I've thought about bringing a few items down just to get some cash for the summer show season. I'll be there either way.
This close to the show, I'm surprised you hadn't heard back from John. I know previously, pre-2009, they...
Fred,
Good to hear from you. I haven't seen you since last year's show. Is KT coming too? Scott was saying he will try to get over also. He gave me a load of crap because he didn't get to last year's show and missed hanging out with you guys.
Greetings all,
Talked to John today and he said all was tracking for the show at the end of the month.

Greetings all.
A reminder that there will be an Indiana MVPA club meeting at Lindsay Clark's shop this Saturday, 9 March. The meeting starts at 10AM. See the website (www.IndianaMVPA.org) for address and map link.
See you there.
Yeah, that sucked. But that is exactly what happened to me when I took mine apart.
I ended up taking my "nut" strips out also. I took the time to clean the outer frame up and swish a bunch of Ospho in the channel to try to neutralize any rust and later poured in some epoxy primer before I put...
Greetings all,
A reminder that the next meeting of the Indiana MVPA is this coming Saturday, 12 January. It will be in the second floor meeting room at the back of American Legion #155, 852 W Main St. in Carmel at 10AM. Here is a map link to the American Legion.
Hope to see you all there.
Phillip,
The ORD 9 TM shows 8g wire is used in the harness running between the generator & regulator (the sheathed cable, PN 7351057), in the regulator harness (coming off the other side of the regulator, PN CC-150140) circuit #4 to the starter; and the radio power harness (PN 7731417) circuits...
Yes, give me a day or two to take a look at the parts manual. If you have the '54 edition of the ORD 9 manual, that is where I am getting my info from.
Jim,
I have never seen one there before. Might be something a previous owner/user attached. Have you checked over at the G741.org site? There are a bunch of M37-specific experts there and likely someone has seen this before if it was something done by the military when it was in service.
Just another quick reminder that the meeting is cancelled.
There are many parades and Veteran's Day activities around if you are looking for something to do. Don't forget that many retailers and restaurants are also offering discounts and specials to veterans.
Greetings all,
The 10 November Indiana MVPA meeting has been cancelled as many of us will be out participating in our local Veteran's Day activities.
Our next meeting will be 12 January 2013 at the American Legion post 155 in Carmel at 10AM. There is a map link on IndianaMVPA.org.
Thank you...
Thanks to all who came in for the Rally & Swap Meet. We had a great time this weekend and hope you did too. The liquid sunshine on Friday evening made for a unique show this year.
Congratulations to the three $50 vendor prize winners!
Good news. Take it easy getting down to Crawfordsville. Save some power for the trails at the museum.
By the way, if you are going across SR 32, there is a detour just east of Lebanon. About 4-5 miles around to the north.
See you there.
Assembly line use....Good answer. I had thought they were the jack points for the hydraulic jack. The bottoms seem to have a circular relief in them though I had no idea why they cut them out like they are. I've never tried to jack it up using these points but now I'll have to relook them...
