Well, I don't know how all of these gadgets work, but they do. When I got the M109A3 about 6 months ago, it had 2 UTL batteries that were dead. We were just going to pitch them, but then my brother got a BatteryMINDer Plus, Model 12117, with a gift card he received from Amazon.
We hooked up...
I got a PM from him saying that he had gotten some advice on how to fix and was probably going to go see about it tomorrow. Also said he would contact me afterwards to let me know how it went.
I don't know if he needs help with both vehicles or just the Deuce.

Just saw this one myself. I'm about an hour north of Lafayette, there are members who live in the immediate area. Dunno who might have space to store his vehicles.
Has anyone heard from South101?

Well, finally got time to complete this job. I ended up using Jasco Prep in the tank. Used about a quart and sloshed it around real well, coating all surfaces. Let it dry for a day or two, then sealed the pin hole with JB Weld.
After that, got a gallon of Red-Kote. Sloshed about 2.5...
I lived in suburban Atlanta for a couple years after getting my first job after college.
North GA is beautiful. I would love to eventually retire to a mountain cabin somewhere around Helen, Blairsville, Toccoa, Dahlonega or any one of several dozen small towns around there.

Did just that, this afternoon. Didn't take much heat to loosen up the plug, but without it, that dang plug just wouldn't budge, even with a cheater pipe.
Now we commence to cleaning, acid washing and sealing.
Thanks for the replies.

Thought about welding a bolt to it, but I think I'm gonna try to heat it first from the outside. Not sure if I wanna stick a torch inside the tank, sounds kinda risky.
I filled it up with water and let it run through for a while, then drained it. Now I am gonna get the shop vac and get the...
My tank has a fair amount of crud in it, would sure be nice to be able to drain the tank through the plug. Has anyone ever heated up the drain plug from the outside to see if that would help?
I've been putting PB Blaster on it (from the inside and outside) for a few days now and it still won't...
Not to hijack the thread, but who does this beast belong to? Any pics of the interior of the box? Great paint and love the tires and the "Mad Max/Apocalypse" look to it.
If anyone knows or has info, feel free to PM me in order not to get off topic.
I'm drooling over it.

Not sure if you are referring to the M109 I won, but I did get kinda lucky. Won it in early September and picked it up Sept. 15. Went for $935.00 including the buyers premium. I did have an advantage, though, I live less than an hour from Beauregard / Pineville, so it's pretty easy for me to...
Since last Thursday, auctions that are over are still showing up in the different state locations for me. They are supposed to disappear once the auction is over, but they keep showing up. They disappear when I try to save them to my watchlist.
Anyone else having this problem? I haven't...
The 109 my brother and I got a few weeks ago has a painfully slight fuel leak right under the rear tank crossmember. The bad thing is, it's about half full of fuel. Doggone drain plug won't come undone, so I'm just letting the fuel drip into a pan for now.
I put some penetrating oil on the...
Heard a few good things about Echo saws, but for my money, it's going to be Stihl or Husky.
That being said, I've heard the "Homeowner" series by Stihl are not as capable as the commercial heavier duty saws. Anyone heard anything similar?
I need at least a Farm Boss, my Stihl 021 just can't...
