yeah that thing will put holes in a cover in no time, I'd say remove it once you get the cover if you buy the truck. I really dont know if it hurts the value or not. I don't know of any hard core deuce collectors, or anyone that will bash something like that. Everyone seems to modd their deuce...
as far as I know the D turbo is way quieter (had a D and switched to a C.) I think the D puts out a tiny bit more HP. I think my D turbo is still laying around someplace. But a muffler is a good idea if you want to keep your hearing without wearing hearing protection (but it is still...
I have the newer camo cargo tarp on my truck, the plastic type material one with rubber bungee like cords to hold it down. Anyways it is coming apart at the seam in one spot. So my question is what type of glue should I use to fix it? Has anyone on here had this problem?
I love snow cats. I get paid to drive those things up and down ski hills for the winter. Just the ones I run are a lot newer, although I did have the chance to run a old thiokol once. Ill stick to the hydrostatic snow cats. Btw we store snow cats with the tracks off during the off season to...
just fyi I had a d turbo on mine and switched it to a C turbo, and I love it. But I wear earplugs on the long trips. Changing turbos is easy if you have a good mechanical know how

Well my day started out at 3:30 am today. My friend and I headed up to Fort McCoy to pick up his M1009. They said it was towed on to the lot, so when we got there they tried to jump it with no luck. So they helped us load it on the trailer, the back wheels just fit but the front ones were riding...
He just won one off of GL, I am sure he will get a profile on here soon. Anyways I am the one towing it down for him, GL said its not running. Anything we should expect and how hard it it to get them running again.
Also is there anyone on here from the NW suburbs of chicago that would be...
if you are trailering it I would go side to side (left to right, right to left.) I have heard of some states that have that as a law that all trailered cars must be tied down like that. Use 4 chains or straps 2 front and 2 rear. It also depends what type of trailer you use, some rentals come...
I know this is a strange question, I have noticed that my rear tires need air. Is there a trick to airing them up? Its difficult to get a tire pressure gauge on them let alone the air chuck. Does anyone have any advice? It seems that the thing to air them up is to take off the outer tires, but...
I am running a 50/50 mix of WMO and diesel... I got a bit more black smoke but it seems like I have a bit more power and the engine has been running a lot better ever since
