I am going to Hooks, TX to pickup a lot of tires.. on the trip down I will be running empty (30' long 10ton trailer with dovetail) and will have 11 pallets of tires on the return trip, so space is limited for the return..
my plan is to leave Wed oct 1st in the evening, and drive through KY...
Sorry about that! I've been following your thread, just forgot that part.. And yes, the 4bt, and 6bt seem to be the 2 most popular retrofitting engines out there.. Anyways, the build is looking awesome! Hope everything with the frame stretch pans out, that would make this build over the top!
While waiting for the rest of the haspin fall rally to show up, I installed my aux "driving" lights.. They are 400 watts EACH at 24v (passenger jet landing lights) the housings I found at the MVPA nationals from Memphis equipment..
I THINK those 2 wires are "fuseable links" aka- they are supposed to melt before anything else gets screwed up, If you go to a (older) parts-house and ask for some fuseable link wire, they should beable to fix you up.. I'm not sure of a chain store would have it or not...
