Maybe this month "Everyone should get a trophy...."
Ha Ha, well I got my trophy yesterday at the Yarmouth Clam Festival Parade, so I'm happy. First Place: "Special Interest Class"
"Special Interest Class"....that must be for the vehicle owners who ride the short bus! :naner:
Are camp fires allowed, if so, is anyone local bringing firewood to sell?
NH is one of those states that has a firewood quarantine in place to prevent the spread of unwanted insects and tree diseases, so to be in compliance don't bring firewood across the state line.
Don't reconnect that orphaned line to the master cylinder tho. Your master cylinder cap should be vented to the atmosphere. The line is disconnected to prevent fuel vapors, which share that line, from degrading your brake fluid. You would only want to use that line if you are fording water...
Hammer/tap on a 6-sided deep socket and wrench it off that way, use a breaker bar for leverage if needed. Of course you'll want to replace the rounded bleeder, NAPA can sell you new ones, I've replaced all my bleeder screws from there.
I think I'm going to make it this year. Just to clarify the show is July 24, 25, 26th (THU-FRI-SAT, No Sunday) right?

Here's a few items on my deuce wish list if anyone has a line on them:
Air Shift Transfer Case
9.00x20 NDTs...
This is actually about a month's worth of odds and ends, I'm playing catch-up:
1) Replaced the canvas on my stylin box seats with new fabric from Jatonka.
2) Touched up the paint here and there. Unfortunately I'm finding painting over CARC was not such a great idea, the CARC is still pealing...
I've driven a bit it parades, in the deuce you can crawl pretty slow with the transfer case in low. Not much clutching is needed if you leave enough space in front of you.
Automatic transmissions are my comfort zone, that's what I grew up driving. But a couple years back I drove from Fort...
I pulled this out of my brake line system last month. A Nat Guard mechanic must have patched the rear 5/16" line with copper, single flaring it on one end and using compression fittings on the other:
This was a GL truck. Shame on me for not noticing this sooner...
The front and back 5/16"...
While I never got a chance to meet Mathew, I'd like to offer vespers for our recently departed Scout. When I was a Boy Scout this is something we would sing at the end of every campfire, we sang it at a few funerals too. :-(
Softly falls the light of day,
As our campfire fades away.
Silently...

Edit: Looks like this issue is with a newer group buy I was not involved with:

I've passed on some real-world contact info I had for Ken to doghead, hopefully this gets resolved amicably!
Let me dig into my spare parts pile here.... I have a couple sets I bought from ODIron for my M105 recovery before they went defunct. Yep, your numbers look good. 39520 for the cup and 39590 for the cone. FYI, the New Star set number is S-16171, which also corresponds to MS19081-230.
Here's...
HA! I didn't mess with the cat. Let's just say that after Mrs. Katahdin came home late and tired only to find one of her cat's missing....on my watch....and fully knowing that I had bought a plasma cutter without her prior knowledge....Lets just say I wasn't going tempt my fate any further!
