After speaking with the local GP guy at Bragg he informed me that going forward there should be oil analysis done on running models, provided they are processed on time, and they are going to be changing the company that does this so it should speed that process up.
Also, non running models...
It seems like you are an engineer or at least extremely familiar with engineering to be able to use solid works and programs as such.
I would say that anything built within the last few decades has been engineered to have a safety factor in it. The rated amount of whatever is being rated is...
Does anyone know/ or has a theory of why GP does oil analysis for some HMMWV's and not others? I'm referring to running trucks here.
I've also noticed that several of the newest listed trucks for the next auction also don't have the oil analysis either.
Just curious.
Thank you,
Corey

I find it interesting that when 2 people post the same article that one has the thread locked and the other is allowed to keep growing.
Just my observations though. And by the way. Neither threads said anything against the rules.
So we had a successful recovery of both trailers. We arrived at Bragg at 8:15 and were finally greeted by a iron plant employee to let us in at 10:15. We had a appointment set up already but apparently the national office doesn't talk to the different bases. We had to go through the provost...
Does anyone know if I can pull a m1101 with a m35a2? My thoughts were to flip the Lynette over to the taller position and connect everything up as normal for a m105 series. But I'm not sure if it will work or not.
Well that stinks.
I think my dad and I will just drive 2 trucks to pick them up. Its about 45 mins one way to Bragg from my place, so it's not too far.
Thanks to all of you for helping. I'll post photos after we bring them home.
My issues with stacking is that Thais location doesn't have loading assists. The trailers also have tops, well one does but the other has the spades installed for the top.
Hello everyone. I just bought 2 m1101 trailers from ft. Bragg on the sale yesterday. I am planning to bring them, both home at the same time. I would like to put them on my Kaufman car trailer, but I can put them on a larger flat bed heavy equipment hauler if they won't fit.
My question is...
I noticed that, and I believe that is the issue here. Where can I get a set of them from? I can make them myself, but I would rather just get a set pre bent.
Ok, So i put a mechanical guage to it and at cold start it climbed to 60 PSI. and after warming up (160-170 degrees) it was around 28-30 PSI at 2000 RPM's. So my fears are relieved. Im going to replace both the sending unit and guage to be on the safe side.
As far as my fuel leak issue I've...
Are those serious problems, or fairly easily fixed. If that's the problem. I checked the oil level 1 min after shut down and it was at normal level. Ill check again tomorrow.
