I have not kept up, how have the conversions from dual to single tires worked out? All the tires on it are at least 20 yr old & I figure I need to replace all prior to move & wonder if the general thought is the switch from duals is still recommended & how the cost...
Howdy, I have a question, I have to move my M35A2C & trailer from KA to NM, plan on replacing all tires, been sitting for 15 yrs. Does the trailer have same size tires as truck?
I live in TX & can not easily check.
I would say make it a beefy as possible, just checked on my Oahkosh plow truck with a 11 or 12' roll over plow & that blade is very heavy, I'd guess 2000-2500# & it shakes the truck if you rotate too fast! It has a very heavy duty frame & mount. Truck weighs 25or 27000# & AF put a 6" thick...
Guys, my Oshkosh WT 2206 plow truck is about ready to be hauled to eastern ID from SLC, any one have an suggestions who to use ? I have checked some that advertise in Military Vehicles mag & it is not in their area of operation.

Good news the WT 2206 is back together & running!! I will post some pix soon. I will need to have it hauled from SLC to ID any suggestions as to who can do a good job & cost?

I tend to over due on stuff for my trucks, if the cost of the Hawker bats is not too bad I think I will go with them, had some very strong posts on the duce site for the bats. I am planning on doing everthing I can to put this truck back so it will run for another...
Thanks for all the good info, I have sent Hawker a request for quote or a dealer, will let you know what I hear. $477 for a bat is sure high, I bought some new duce bats around 3 yrs ago & they were $200+. I think when it was rebuilt at Oshkosh in 86 they put a 24V alternator & it had 4 6V...
any one have any experence with Hawker military batteries on trucks? I saw their web site & they look good just wonder what the real experence is. They would be going in an Oshkosh WT-2206 plow truck in ID.

Work has finally started getting the truck back together!!
Does any one have experence with the Hawker 12 V batteries? I saw a post on them some time ago & thinking they might be good to put in the plow, any one with any experence with them? Better than other...

Great news, finally got the LF Axile parts ready to ship for my 2206!!!
Should go on truck tomorrow or Mon, hope it gets to SLC next week.
Want to get the axle on so they can move to shop :D :D & do all the maintance + putting the new stearing kit from Oshkosh on, go...
