ill check on that. Found another thread with someone having the same symptom's. I'm checking to see what they didhttp://http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?93929-Fuel-shut-off-solenoid-Bad/page2
so I'm having the exact same symptoms however when the key is off and engine is still running I have 1 volt. did the OP test for voltage with key off and engine still running. I'm curious if he has the 1 volt as well.
The previous owner removed the Duval and converted to a regular cucv setup in the engine compartment. Such as alternators and accessories compressor and wiring harness. I did just have an alternator issue that I fixed finally and then this started happening.
im running transmission fluid through it now and no luck so far. The weird thing about the 1 volt is that it is only when the truck is running and the ignition is turned off. When the ignition is on and the engine is off I have 0 volts. So im picking up interference I would think. However I have...

Agreed. But the 6.2 is a good motor. I think the longest highway drive I made was 1 1/2 hours. Now that I have the 4l80 I wanna take it to moab in utah
but when i cycle the key with the engine off i get B+ and then 0 volts (key on then key off) i only get the 1 volt when the engine is running after the key is off
mine does it every time i try to shut it down. i put a meter on the red wire and key on i have 13 volts running, and when i turn the key off i have 1 volt. I did unplug the wire again and it died immediately. 1 volt should not be able to keep this solenoid working. No this truck is driven...
