I drove mine to work yesterday and it just ran super smooth; no vibrations, rattles or tire hopping and felt like really strong power. Not sure if it was the temps or what but everything was working superb!

It's often advised to drain the t-case, fill it with diesel, and go for a 10+ minute or so drive with it to clean the sprag & t-case of built up junk, and then drain & replace with gear oil.
You don't need the run flat insert, but I'm gonna say you do want the Hutchinson bead lock inserts. I've heard of some folks mounting tires w/o the bead locks but it's more difficult to seat the tire and there's a risk of a tire coming off the bead while driving which could cause a loss of...
It could be an optical delusion...lol...but I've never seen a soft line that can hold the memory of (2) 90 degree bends. Could be something new I'm not familiar with.
From that frame junction block down to the axle: if that's some type of flex hose, how does it hold that offset jog?
...and if that's a hard line, what happens when the axle articulates?
Thats sounds like a lot of material - thanks for the details. I've been circling the rabbit hole of communications & radio gear for awhile now, but I'm not sure i have the time to completely jump in. When I do, I'll look into these texts a lot more thoroughly.
I'm assuming that those who chose a communications MOS and went on to an advanced course after basic would have had a unique curriculum. Were they taught with the TMs and FMs that we all know or were there other internal texts that were not released?

I ordered TM 11-5820-498-12 which sheds a little more light on the AM-2060 mounting unit. Although the PRC-25 or -77 battery pack delivers 3 & 15 VDC, this unit outputs 3 & 13...
Painted the tensioner to match and reattached the data plate and MWO tag that used to be on the top c-channel plate before the level wind took its place.
