    M939 ABS ECU failure point

I'm necroing this post with a slight correction. A=curb side (passenger) B=Road side (driver) S2b 04 would indicate drivers side sensor fault, not passenger. Just got the Haldex reader.... exact same issue here.... all the stored codes, cleared them all and S2B 04 is the remaining code...

    The WeenieWagun v3

Found the elusive Haldex ABS code reader .. and put it to work. Took 30 seconds to find the reported issue.... Now I gotta look up the ABS manual and see where that corresponds to and check wiring.

    M1088 camper conversion

~7MPG isn't bad at all, all things considered. Most roadgoing RVs at that size are pushing 8-10 MPG tops, so...

    M1088 camper conversion

I keep bouncing back and forth if I wanna do that.. and I keep thinking it just adds complexity and is another point of failure. There's a few things an engine can run without but coolant isn't one of them.

A full truck greasing (including bearings) should use most of that tub.

Leaking as in not holding pressure when being used. Buy 35LB pail, it's a lot more cost effective.

    The WeenieWagun v3

I looked at those, but I want a 'buy once, cry once' tool. Lots of so-so reviews, or 'used for 2 tubes and it leaks now' kinda stuff..

    The WeenieWagun v3

Also, 35lbs of goo showed up... It matches the Milwaukee M18 grease gun that came earlier in the week. (Not mine, same thing)

    The WeenieWagun v3

I've been looking at reefers since I just re-priced insulation - and it looks like it's gonna be cheaper to BUY a reefer van body than it would be to insulate the body I have. Go figure. So, I was concerned about ventilation, since reefers are buttoned up pretty good. ChatGPT to the rescue..

Coolant Leaking from Steering Pump Stud [M1008]

Common issue. When I picked up my M1031, ALL the power steering pump bolts had worked loose and the pump itself was being held in by the belts alone. In terms of breaking bolts off, if it breaks off the block, not much you can really do other than weld it back on.

Driver of HMMWV dead after accident...

2 days ago had some nutjob going 100+ on the highway. Saw him coming up in my mirrors and knew he was going way too fast and couldn't stop. I KNEW he was gonna try and cut in between cars, with him not realizing that gaps change/close as cars move different speeds. He never even slowed down, and...

    Interesting there's no 800 or 900 series on there...and there's no M44 series A2.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Having owned a deuce with air/hydraulic, and 2 939s... I had an air line failure on my M939 series. It stopped. The deuce would not have. That was one of the main reasons I went back to an M939 from a deuce. I realized the money needed to retrofit for a backup solution like 2nd circuit, or...

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

The texture on the Marquee was all off compared to CARC, and as mentioned, it was significantly glossier. The e500 is exterior, which means it's supposed to be able to handle the elements, and the lower gloss factor may be interesting. Might be a good experiment.
