The cork in keyway is not needed in front axle gearlube should not be in the knuckle the seal in the axle tube must have problem. The diff must also be over full for it to fill knuckle and flow into spindle.

I brought my deuce back home from camp where it has been for a year or so running around in low range once or twice a month.
It is time to clean her up and service everything. I noticed after getting my new deuce the old one was not running very well. The ride home let me know just how bad it...
I used the what looks like the same handle all I did was file it to look like the handle that came off truck. Took care of the chrome with sand paper and OD paint.
I like it so far no more jumping on fender and reaching in windshield.
The race looks like it has been sitting in one spot for a loooooong time try to clean it up with 400 grit sand paper if it does not clean up replace bearing and race.
