I agree. My CTIS has worked since I bought the truck two years ago. Just need to check to make sure everything is in place and not leaking. Erik's has all the part's you would need to fix any problems. I saw some other parts on ebay. CTYIS is really nice when you go from road to highway to dirt...
Is that the m923a2? Does it have Central Tire Inflation and autotrans? Dod you purchase that from GL? The reason I ask is I am looking for one like that, and ours is a great example of a later model truck. How many miles does it have?
Judging from this bit of information I stumbled upon, it looks like the recapitalization program is going to keep HKWv's in use by the military for a long time to come. It makes since, as they do need a general purpose logistics truck that is unarmored, or lightly armored and air transportable...
I have an M35a3 with only 5000mi on it. However, the steering wheel seems to have way to much play. I tried to tighten up the linkage but i think I may have been on the wrong bolt.

If anybody knows anything, I would appreciate the information.
Thanks!
All of the HMMWV's in the picture, except mine (the last one) belong to the California National Guard. I am biased towards the Navy, so I painted mine to be a US Navy HMMWV. Followed the identification marking scheme from some HMMWV's on base.
Not to mention the fact, that on days like Independence day or memorial day, we use this vehicles to honor vets, carry them in parades, or put on display. Additionally, how can Hollywood make certain movies without the vehicles available. Its really a shame I think, and perhaps there something...
We know they don't want you to have them, but if the government could earn more from the vehicle or armor from a private sale (like they do in the UK), then why sell it as scrap? Is the US government so wealthy they don't need any extra change? A scrapped APC is probably worth $5k, but in...
If the RT-1439's Are the SINGARS, I got them at Murphy's Surplus near San Diego. He has a lot of them. I have all the cables and manuals but have not hooked them up yet. They do work though.
