I shipped the trailer from GA and it ended up costing nearly $4k. Even if it can drive on/off a truck ramp, and Fl is much further, the only savings would be in the load and unload which was another $500 (needed cranes)
USAA does not even fully comprehend what I have. I told them it was an AM General M35A3, a former military truck, made in 1999. They insure it for about $300 per year. Never a hassle from them. If you have access to USAA, then that should always be your first option.
i don't understand why this conversation gets recycled so many times. USAA will insure close to anything. I have 4 policies with them and when they ask me what it is I just give theme the nomenclature and a policy shows up. Really, if you have served or a family ember has served, just get USAA...
I finally go hold of Tacy on Wednesday and the earliest she could let me in for a view was Monday.
I do have one question though. Don't you only have 10 days after your invoice in paid in full to pick up your stuff? What happens if they give you a pickup date beyond that?
I need to move an MK-17 Rear Body Unit fromMCLD Albany, GA to Costa Mesa, VA 92626.
If anybody has any ideas or recommendations i would appreciate it. Got one OUTRAGEOUS bid already, and need to get it out of there by June 15.
Thanks!
Looking for members who have been to MCLS Barstow,
Does anybody know if one could get into the DRMO/GL area to view some things with a valid, current mil ID?
Seems the lot manager is MIA with a full mailbox…..looking for a workaround
I will say that as a Sinologist and China scholar, this is pure rubbish. The Chinese have not been innovative in over 100 years, and those things they had invested in previous dynasties were never widely applied because of their inward looking and closed culture. Their current political...
Actually, during the late 1980's during a warming period in relations between China and the US to counter the USSR, Blackhawks, HMMWV's and other material were exported to China. Most of which is pop now because they can't get spare parts due to the post Tiananmen embargo.
Took a few shots last week at the PLA open house in Hong Kong. Looks more luxurious than our GI HMMWV's on the inside. I have pics of other vehicles. Let me know if you are interested and I will post more.
I am curious of the condition of the truck. I was the one bidding against you. It seems like it could be a driver. Let us know once you pick it up.
have fun with it.
Well you have to add o the fact that such registration will be used for Veterans benefits, such as parades, hosting at VFW posts, etc, and also will allow for easier transportation of vehicles to be used in the film industry, thus potentially attracting productions to the state. It also could ad...
In most states that have such laws or historical vehicle type laws, you cannot use the vehicle for commercial purposes, so you are not making sense. As for CDL, well if you are not using it for commercial purposes then now Commercial Driver's License Required. Most trucks like the deuce are air...

HMMWV's are going to stay in sue and be rebuilt for years to come.
