maybe i missed this somewhere but specifically what torque converter did you use? or does a 4l80 converter bolt up to a 6.2 flywheel?
btw awesome writeup! im going this weekend to grab a 4l80 core!
My lockout works properly. So if I'm understanding you correctly one should hold the lever towards the gear selection they desire as they place the shifter into drive and the TC shifter will fall into place?
If your TC gets hung between gears there's physically no way to rock your 5 ton to slip your shifter into gear. I believe this was being discussed earlier in the thread.
I've actually had good luck with the zipper type. The first one took a while to get one but once you teach yourself the proper way to install them you can get them on in about 15 minutes. IMO I wouldn't take the knuckles apart unless I had to.
Funny enough I tried to go back and find the tm and couldn't lol I used a slide hammer and the screw on adapter of the two jaw puller without the jaws. You insert it into the inside of the tube on the other side of the retainer and pop out the ring. I used no parts
1985 M1010 after cold starts when using high idle at times will randomly rev itself up to an estimated 2600 rpm and hold there until high idle solenoid turns off. The other part of the time the high idle solenoid intermittently functions which I believe it just needs a new solenoid. My question...
OK final count for me is me, my M923, and 3 guests. My only issue is maybe finding someone looking for a rider to join them on the trails as obviously I can't get all 4 of us in the cab of my M923.
We will be there Saturday only. What time is breakfast and can I bring anything?
