from looking at theempty engine bay.. the motor appears to practically jump in.. with room to spare.. My only hesitation is the noise and vibration. I would like to use it as DD .. I going to use 700r4 I had in 1009.
Good point.. it took 4 motor to get enough rod for three. one of rod was bent in a shap of a U from hydro lock situation. I was amazed that it took that many.
I am guessing a rod did that?? who did the overhaul?? the reason I asked, is because I just had 3 - 6.2 completely overhauled.. holy crap.. maybe I should convert all to cummins
I one from a frito lay truck, a member of this site had it. I was going to put it m37 but the price of fly wheel ect.. caused me to change my tact. I was just wandering if there was pit fall and general advise for this swap. BTW i going to us 700r4 and 3:73 axleout of suburban..
The nv4500 I find have 241 t cases the 208 is direct fit and swap.. Belive it or not the hardest thing to find is the clutch pedal. I have found eveything in a junkyard before 600 bucks. You will have to fab up crossover and mount.. Note the pre 96 are the cheaper one
I have used heads for 6.5 t and 6.2 .. figure out what you are going to do any way heads are easy to find.. just have to fine good one for your build..
here is what I heard over the years.. 6.2 pre cups will give better milage but more heat, valve are smaller which makes head stronger.. there is...
TM 2320 289 34 section 3.3 Has all the info you need, even has picture.. soory it early before I finish my coffee

You will need 16.5 rims for humvee tires.. I have nv4500 in a 1028 it is great , Iam runnin BF mud terrains with 305/???/16 and pull 70mpy @ 2000 rpms +-
sure it is 205??? thought that ended in the early 70s as stardard equipment in k5?? 208 was the standard in 1985??? 208 are 150 to 300 buck takeouts 205 are all over the place the trick is to get the one you need.
Thays kinda of what I thinking.. I don't know the timeline of your mods. My thought is the the electric pump is dislodging crap from the tank ect..
Did you install a small prefilter before the pump?
speedo gear in transfer case I belive the stock gear is yellow.. BTW they are plastic... I could be wrong on color been a while since I messed with them..
Side bar..
Shacker you have previous mention your milage.. check the number on the IP and injectors... I wouldn't be surprised if some hmmvee...
