Sorry went all billy with it, Over the years a have aquired a number of 6.2 and 6.5 engines and misc. parts, recently, I had couple of GL humvee take out motor gone though. A local machine shop pulled 4 engine apart rehone, bored, check the heads, installed head studs and and crank girdels on 2...
I figured it would have been the same, but its not.. That what I get buying crap from GL lol. The parts are similar I guess just assembled differently. anyway what PIA GM400 trks are to remove engines there is less room than in CUCVs.
This type unit was standard on the 6.5.. the ears on the housing bolt onto the intake manifold.. you will need to get the little valve to bleed the filter
fuel preasure is too low or crappy fuel.. try filter swap agian and check pump. also do you have pre filter in front of pump.. some that diesel additive might help if you have water in fuel.
ok I bought a 93 k3500 for parts..8 bills... after closer lokk @ it I decided to throw 6.2 humvee take out at it..
My question will humvee pan work and or will the 6.5 pan work?? I know there are certain pans will not interchang. btw here is a video of thee truck before it went boom...
Heck fire..just swap the rear of the van for time being... axles will turn up or 6.2 ...get all billy with it. if you got the time and where with all I got pile of 6.2 and 6.5 to get 1008 on the road.. for your consideration
