Thanks folks. that driver.gif is the key!

    Shifty driver "smiley"

Thanks Boatcarpenter and NK14ZP. I see the emoticon, but I am trying to figure out how to save it, so I can always use it - on this site and others. What file extension or other protocol do I use to save. I hope someone can help me out here. I now see it on the menu at the bottom of the...

    1953 M37 value?

My wife loves to lecture me that it would have been cheaper to pay $10,000 for an overhauled, painted, good running, all the bugs out, M37 than to have paid $2,000 for one and then overhauled everything. But, look at all the fun I would have missed out on! Seriously, depends on how you are...

    Shifty driver "smiley"

A while back SS had a "smiley" of a driver shifting gears. I love it and would like to have it available to use. It is not on the smiley menu any more, though it is still seen on some old posts. Is there a way to save this emoticon, or whatever it is? What format, how, etc. Can anyone help...

    Steering Gear Question

My M37 winch seals, leak like a sieve. But, I have all ready removed it from the truck and bought a seal kit. It does sound promising though.

    Global Warming and Deuce Air

There is a well thought of outfit that makes custom AC for hotrods and vintage cars. It is called Vintage Air (I think). They specialize in making kits that fit into old cars with a minimum of trouble and that don't ruin the collector look. I have no idea of what they might say, but they...

    I just bought an M38A1

Ditto on Herm the Overdrive Guy! He overhauled my M38A1 trans and was great to work with. Really knows his stuff.

    It followed me home dear!

Not sure how to do that. I downloaded direct from my photo file and they were full sized there? Not a real IT wonk you know.

    It followed me home dear!

I swear, or was it the stork that brought it to be with it's brothers the M38A1 and the M37. Well, she isn't buying it, but she is awful understanding about my MV disease. This M35A2 bobber was done by Alex at Idaho Motor Pool, great truck. It has air assist steering, air seat, air front...

Best gasoline to use in a M38A1

The only problem with taking the ethanol out of the gas is that you just lost 10% of what you paid for. This ethanol thing is going to be a political football before it is over. I believe in a Personal Right to blend my fuel, not a Gubment mandated blend!

piston photos - cracks, chips, etc

Been doing diesel engines for 40 years and every injector I have seen and tested has been designed to "atomize" the fuel. That is to turn the liquid into a cloud of vapor. If it drips or sprays a stream, it is NG> The vapor is then ignited by the heat of compression. Some old hot-bulb...

Towing a Wrangler with a deuce- Brackets?

Great idea for a M35 looking bumper! Just watch out for too much weight on the front springs! Measure bumper to ground with stock bumper and again with a "big iron" bumper. The best bet is probably to check for front springs from a Wrangler with snowplow kit. It's amazing what a difference...

    Fuel in Oil...need help

I am looking at adding a multi-fuel M35A2 to the motor pool! After reading posts here that bypassing the FDC would do no harm, even running a waste oil mix, I found some interesting reading on this truck. The fuel tank is stenciled "Diesel fuel only" and there is a sticker on the filter...

    Tubeless One-Piece Rim for M37 / M101A1

If you are going to use tube type wheels, you will need to run tubes and flaps inside the tires. Talk to your local tire shop. As far as lights, the military are 24 volt. You can change the bulbs to 12 V and use a wiring adapter (you will have to buy one from the classifieds here or Epay) or...

    Tow Bar Connection to M37

What towbar do you use? You say it is a std. towbar. Is that one used for towing a duece?

New rule at GL for trailers!!!

There are still some auctions going on that started under the old rule. At least that is what I was told.
