I've got the same kit NOS out in my garage waiting for me to get at it. I looked at the instructions, and you're right - clear as mud. You can see where that z-bracket part on the left goes, but not how it gets installed. I think I'm going to classify that part as "optional."
Does anyone know where I can get replacements? I checked in all the TMs and could not find a part number. Mine are all very rusted. The one in the pictures was the best one (and closest to the tailgate).
Thanks, Aaron. I sent dataplates.net an email with a photo attached on the 18th but have not heard back from them yet. I'll give them a call in a couple days.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement data plate for the ether starting kit? I checked on TNJ Murry's website and they don't seem to have it. I checked the MV Data Plates website and they don't seem to have it. I also checked the Saturn Surplus site and they don't have it either. A...
I think if you send a PM to patracy that he can upload them to the site once you have them ready. Asking John at jatonka is also a good idea. I sent it off in the mail today, so you should get it in a couple days. Thanks for the help, Brian!
I changed the differential fluid in all three axles. I also changed the transmission fluid as well as the transfer case fluid. I'm glad it was all the same oil, and that I had a good hand pump on hand for the transmission and transfer case. I also changed out the rear brake lights and front...
I was looking through the forum and on Google Books to see if I could find a copy of TM 9-2815-210-35, as I found a reference to it in a few SS threads. It turns out that I have a copy that I bought from a guy a couple years ago off of eBay. It's been sitting on my shelf unopened for a couple...
Thanks, Dave. I was in Iola last year and will go again this next year. Last year, I bought two steel bows and a few fiberglass staves from you. I'd like to get a set of fiberglass troop seats (left and right) and a fiberglass headboard. Let me know if you see any of those around.
Hello SS members - I hope you can help a new member out. I went to the military show in Iola this past summer and loved it. I will be back next year, with more money and a trailer. I live up in Minneapolis, so am wondering if anyone can tell me about other similar shows within driving...
Does anyone know what TM I can find the Leaf Spring Perch for an M35 in? I have searched through the Deuce forum as well as through several TMs but could not find anything. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
I bought a duce two years ago from a guy in NC and had it shipped from NC to MN for $1500. I used a company called All Day Auto Transport and you can contact them at 754-229-2434 ext 1001. Ask for Jenna. They are a transportation broker. So they post your project to their network of haulers...
Thanks for your note. I already have NOS metal corners specific to a drop-side that I got from Saturn. I am also looking for fiberglass or steel staves, and metal bows.
