    Found an M543 (I think)

If your planning on using it much, I'd just go with regular plates. I don't have a 5 ton only 2.5 tons though. I have commercial plates (about $300/ year). Insurance is about $380/year. Then your free to do what you want with it.

TOWING A M35A3 from TN to MD. CDL NEEDED?

That big A3 on that trailer is going to be an eye-catcher. If it was something smaller I'd say you would probably less likely to have a problem. I've got the same setup F350 + 16K trailer = over 26K GVWR combination vehicle. Class A CDL needed. I'd also be a little concerned that that trailer...

On the deuce? You have to lift the lock and move the top lever to the right for the headlights and turn signals simultaniously. For the guage lights its the left lever. Blackout lights are the BO option on the dial.

    Stopped by the NCSHP

I was more wondering what made him decide you were doing something wrong. If your load was covered, I 'm just wondering if he would have singled you out. That being said, one of my trucks got stopped in IL, and I think it was because of the funky looking ("KMart M109" --Quote Dr. Greg) built...

    Stopped by the NCSHP

If your only allowed 4k GVWR then why did they give you an antique plate for a 13.5K truck? Expensive load of gravel.

    first long haul

I vote for trailering it. It will be much less hassle to work out any bugs close to home.

Anyone have one of these bad boys?

Thats pretty interesting, I figured the tracks would be controlled with pedals. It would be neat to see it tugging something. I seen some more recent videos of it going through the mud and its impressive. The story of its post war ag use reminds me of the willys jeep.

    Got my deuce :)

I've been driving my deuce just about everday since the transmission in my F350 went out. I always look forward to jumping in and firing it up. Not always the most practicle vehicle for everday erands. One of these days I'll have to get the little truck fixed. Next on my wish list is an m37 and...
