Yes, Pyrometer = EGT.
I've read lots of suggestions to drill & tap the exhaust manifold in the center of the umm..ah.. "collector" area of the manifold for the best readings. If it's a single exhaust use the side they join on.
Pyro's seem a little expensive but they are a lot cheaper...
So how is this paint to use, BLP Mobile Paint, worth every penny?

Don't mind if the color is off. I'm more interested in durability and...
I'm trying the same thing  I want to coat the frame and underside with Rust Bullet and removal of this stuff is a pain!
I bought a pint of the Goof Off and it seems to work well. Kerosene works fairly well and may work better if I let it soak in. Kerosene doesn't evaporate as fast as the...
On small dents without creases I saw a guy use a torch 8) Said stamped metal has a tendency to return to it's original shape. Lifted a couple of dents out. It was in a paint your car video.
They had tires all over the place. Next trip post a pic and sidewall info. I'm sure they had them, just not in what shape. I saw the popular tread patterns but was thrown by the size of some of them
I got back, had enough money left over I made a stop at Harbor Freight, spent more there than at the Yard!
I couldn't believe all the parts and stuff. It's a shame the nomenclature on all the new parts & rebuild kits isn't more descriptive. Just couldn't tell what it was for
Lots of...
I'm one of those guys :D Bought a Blazer, 6.2, 700r4, 3.73, 4X4, and 31" tires. Drove it 900 miles home and got 25mpg all the way at 65mph :o :o
Ignoring it old adage "If it ain't Broke don't Fix It!" It's been a donor to the FrankenWhatever I'm currently building  :D
X2 to what...
I believe offroadoverstock.com currently has 2" spacers for the best price.

I've seen pics of the 6x6 runflats and they looked good to me. Some have also cut the "runflat" off the magnesium type and gotten good results as well.
Wait a minute     You drove it in there and now the engine is siezed? That's all the explanation they gave you?
No funny noises when you drove it in? No funny noises when they drove it on the rack?
Gee, what a true oddity    :x
Hey Polverone, just caught this. You will be charging 2% for Credit Cards. Not 2 hundredths of a percent.
Of course if I do charge something feel free to move the decimal up two points. Would be a great incentive :P :P
That's a nice truck! Those are 36" HMMWV bias tires on it. I'm going to say it's a 6" lift because it looks like good clearance. I've read you'll have problems with those tires and a 4" unless you trim the fenders
Hey, it's Texas! Don't you have a LEO buddy who'll run the plate for you...
