$15 - $18 for 100lbs of Black Beauty? I'll have to check that out :D
So the saga ends. Replaced the bottom abrasive valve with one from the hardware store.
Runs pretty well now. Wish I'd bought the 20 gallon one though  Now I run through the sand pretty fast
Look on eBay, they show up there quite often.
I've had both and I didn't hold the two side by side to compare but they sure looked the same to me?????
You can also look for the round can of beans type as they are interchangeable. Of course I haven't seen a difference between the civy & mil box...
Congrats! Looks pretty good.
Worst thing is the dealer statement:
I cant believe the 6.2L diesel motor that is under the hood runs so nice and has so much power you truly wont be dissapointed its a bear.
  "Power"??? Not something the 6.2 & M1009 are known for 8)
Still a nice buy.
True, I'm thinking of the Bias-plys I have with weights others have mentioned. I'm sure the run-flats, magnesium or rubber, have different weights as well.
Recently I've seen pictures of a new HMMWV rim which has a higher load rating. Looks the same as the 12 bolt but has an additional small...
The politicos spout it as if it is a badge of honor "I support the Troops. I support the Troops." I have yet to run into anyone who doesn't. Now if you want to talk about how it's being managed and used as a political football.....
If you haven't bought your 12v starter yet look at a gear reduction (MT28?) starter. Best price with recommendations was DB Electrical on eBay. I haven't put mine in yet though.
The Tuna Can huh? What's wrong with smoked tuna
You can pop it off and clean it out with de-greaser. Pull the hose and clean it out as well. As mentioned it can get pretty crudy. Pull the air cleaner off and stick your pinky in the hole. If it's plugged up use something, wire, nail...
That might help but I think getting some spray contact cleaner and dielectric grease would work better. Spray all your switches and re-grease those that need it. Check for loose or corroded connections, etc.
Wait a minute. What are you trying to put where? :?: :?:
If you want to put the 350/700r4/241 in the M1009 then yes you can use the crossmember from the Blazer.
If you want to put the 350/400/208 in then you can't use the crossmember from the Blazer.
I'm not sure if the 208 and 241 are a...
They are a beadlock rim. The rim comes apart. The 8 lug refers to the hub mounting holes. 12 bolt refers to the 12 nuts & bolts that hold the two rim parts together :D
BTW, I don't want the runflats either but they are usually sold separately anyway.
Fairly popular with the 4X4 crowd. Plenty...
What the heck :D Ask them if they have any 8 lug, 12 bolt, HMMWV rims and how much they want for them. If you can get a look or a pic so much the better. 8 bolts are everywhere and 12 bolts are rare, unless you are willing to pay $100 ea
Got the new gun from Harbor Freight and it works much better. Got a lot done but ran into some clogging problems. I have 2 water separators, one on the compressor and one on the blaster tank. I get water out of the blaster but not much at all at the compressor.
I might swap out the sand shut...
I didn't read all the posts but I'm going to say the first ones used. Opened up a whole new era in warfare 8)
Somewhere in there a mention should be made for the guy who figured out how to synchronize the machinegun with the prop
Harbor Freight has one available on the web sight. My local store didn't carry them  So $19.99 jumped to $30 for tax & shipping :x :x
Looks like Northern Tool had the overseas mass producer change the design of the gun so they could patent it :? I cannot recommend the Northern Tool...
I'd hold off on replacing the steering stabilizer. If it's worn out it should be replaced but a new one can also mask serious problems.
Looks like you have enough suggestions on what to check out. Report back if you find it or have any other questions :D
No bids, a day left, $99

Not mine!
