Can you put the EZ Ride springs on the truck or do they have to be the HD ones? And all that I see advertised is the 1/2 & 3/4 ton kits, but the M1008 is a 1+tons truck correct?

Yes you was wrong about the voltage. The voltage at the bars is 24V.

Is making my own gaskets the only way to go?

Maybe shimmy was wrong word, I think a steering stabilizer would be good for when you hit bumps and the steering wheel jerks or "shimmys"

My second deuce has a coolant leak from the manifold on top of the engine. Where do I find gaskets, or do I just buy a gasket kit? Thanks.

So when you hit bumps the steering wheel doesnt shimmy. The same reason why they are on 4wd vehicles.
