It does seem difficult to start, or else I'm just pussin around with it. Instructions on the back of the visor say hold pedal down half way in warmer weather to start. Does it hurt the engine to start with the throttle held half open.

Its only after I crank it when its set 8 hrs or over night. When I put it in drive and start to go it stops shortly thereafter.
