    Fuel Mileage?

I doubt more than 10 overall, unless your running really tall tire/wheel combos. With stock 900's it just seems to wringing the motor out much past 50. The sweet spot on most stockers is it about 42-45-48 or so, then above that it seems that your unduely winding it up more than nessesary...

on your other previous post I was not too jazzed, but after seeing it it looks good, as I recall from before, you said all your stuff was likely to be a bit 'different', but it does look good.

    Deuce Starter Solenoid

something that happened to me two weeks ago, I got in the Deuce and pushed the button, nut'in ......after cleaning all the connections, turns out it was the furthest giant ground cable from the left front of the starter to the frame, over all these years the loop on the frame side finally gave...

    Deuce Starter Solenoid

$300.00 STOP Thats way too frigin much They can be taken apart and cleaned, its likely a conection when power is aplied caused from the ark which initiates the cylinder movement within the housing that can be cleaned up with emery cloth, the whole thing put in Vinigar, yes vinigar to etch the...

    Oil everywhere!

Yup this makes since you know. First thing I would cast suspition on would be the gasket on the Jatonka filter bases, often-times on the stockers it is the o-ring/gasket, wide verses narrow not catching the lip of the block casting.

    cost of m35a2 wo/w

If you can, get a winch with it, yea theyre over rated, but good when you sell. If I'm correct, a Deuce when brand new from the factory cost the Government something like $65,000.......yea, thats a bunch....

    cost of m35a2 wo/w

Anywhere from $1,500 for a Rat, to about $2,500-$3,500 for an average Deuce, nothing too impressive, probably missing the cargo cover and bows, but likely with a soft-top, occasionally a hard-top and average 50% tires, mabe fair to good paint. $3,500 to $4,500 mabe a winch and hard-top with ok...

    Adding brake fluid

Yep DOT 5..........the two will not mix (automotive type Dot 3 and Dot 5) You will need a small funnel with hose on the end to get to it

Needle scalers to remove rust and paint

Well the side-grinder and sander have been a great help so far. There just wasn't enough for sandblasting really, unless I owned a Ingersol Rand rotary and tub, and then Id probably get carried away and have the Deuce in a dozen pieces. The scaler is the final piece and solution for the outsides...

    Deuce manifold heater

With a non functioning in-tank fuel pump, will the manifold heater still function as designed ? What I'm getting at is, without a presurized line from the in-tank fuel pump in operation will the manifold heater be fed fuel past the first try ? My thinking is that the first try will consume any...

    Adding brake fluid

Once the trap door is open look twards the rear of the truck, you should see the round cap to the master cyl. with a tubing line connected to it, yea the looks can fool you at first. Dis-connect the tubing (somewhat difficult) and then remove the cap counterclock-wise to loosen. The Deuce takes...

Needle scalers to remove rust and paint

Hopefully this isn'y too hard on the eyes as far as color goes, Your right some of the colors just bug you out trying to read them, for me, black and blue...........on to the scaler....Harbor Freight also makes a small version too, like the 9 needle below rather than the 13's shown above, it...

Needle scalers to remove rust and paint

A longtime tool of the Navy for removing rust and blistering paint. Anybody have any experiance with removing rust and chiping paint on a Deuce or? Some years ago I used one while welding to remove slag, and WOW did it work perfectly for that. I'm seeing them at Northern tool and Harbor Freight...
