Ratch, you might wanna contact the local cops or state police where it's parked. If not, perhaps the municipal offices. They might be able to give you contact info on the truck or property owner.

A straight Google search brings up lots of stuff about them but this page looks like it might be a good example.

They seem popular at farm-type tractor shows.

Fired it up to shake out the winter cobwebs before parades and displays begin in a couple of weeks. Found out why the TM says to lubricate and exercise the hand brake every 30 days when it's in storage.

There's one very close to it on G503 from Red Motor Car Company. The dataplate on that one says 1917 and it includes a photo of a guy driving it.

It needs to be at Gilbert in the fall or Sussex next year.

I find this stuff interesting, so bear with me, please. I agree you'll not match for touchup and you can't really tell colors unless it's in person. Your truck has the tinted-by-age-and-oxidation color scheme that takes an air brush master to blend in. That said, I think it would very cool to...
This is from an ad that arr'd in my inbox today. I thought this was a creative fix for, say, an SUV or M37. Sez that you could heat it and straighten it.

That looks fitting for a couple of Jeeps. OD makes everything look like it fits. I've only seen the videos but it must be a great experience to take part in that event. It looks like a great show.

It could be part of an ammunition trailer or the front end of a pole-pulling trailer. Looks like the tongue is telescoping. I'd spend some time with those terms and ones like them on Google -> Images.

I had a light short wipe out or carbonize a bunch of connections incl the turn signal switch internals. Make it a thorough check for damage as well as for the source of the problem.
Electricity can do weird stuff when things go wrong.

You could also check out RV covers for trailers, van/campers, etc. They have the boxier lines that should do well on a 101. I looked at them a bit some time ago.

I bought it to include as a working winch in a project and it would have been excellent, but I miscalculated I'm not able to get it fitted to pull at the proper angle. It's all original, not repainted. It's really a well-made device. The ratchet winds like a...
Keep in mind that 'proper' camo for your truck might well be MERDC depending on the period you want to paint it. Here's a starting place:

Over one's head and beyond budget seems to be an entry requirement for the hobby. Don't feel like the Lone Ranger. Look at the bright side. There's usually a lot of crawling around looking and elbow grease stuff to do on these trucks that costs little to nothing to keep you busy until you...
I only was half paying attention, but isn't this the one you used over the weekend at Sussex? If so, I heard a couple onlookers comment on how cool it was.

There have been lots of nice things said about the show and the club. It's really appreciated, and it certainly does take a lot of work from a lot of people to put it on. What hasn't been said enough is that all of that could have been done flawlessly but without the exhibitors, vendors, and...
