5 years or newer. 2016 allows for a couple of years use. Why would I buy a tire that has 1 yr use left . Yes they are destroying both wheel and tires. Wheels don't make any sense unless rims are shot too. I would be only comfortable if tires were new and never mounted. Even pass the 5yr limit...
You also realize the tires were devolped for the off road community. Specifically for rock climbing. So when tires failed and they did. Goodyear could point to how the tires were used. If they had been on road tires and enough peaple had been killed. There would of been a recall just like the...
Also remember it NYC vehicles are running in the dessert not on a hard top. Also The BF Goodrich Bajas side walls are flexible like the MTs. Also possibility that they threw on the MTs before turn in.

Not a good idea mixing MT and MTRs. MTs side wall are more flexible then the MT/Rs. Also watch the producton date on the MT/Rs. Army has pulled off vehicles and is destroying tires over 5 yrs old due to blow out issues per DOD saftey messages. That means if tires or older then 2016 don't use...
I thought about doing that. Decided to err on caution and did the PVC inserts. TreadWright was pretty good. 3 of the tires they sent me had issues. They sent me replacements right away.. Also interesting note they are true 37s the MTRs were 36s.

Finally replaced the problematic Goodyear MT/R on the Humvee. Then replaced the runflats with PVC beadlock/inserts from Trail Worthy Fab. Install was pretty easy. Used the tines on the forklift to get the PVC inserts into the tire. Used Bead sealer to seat the O rings on the rim. Truck...
He said issue started after he reinstall gauge cluster after painting. I had similar issue with two gauges. Finally just replace gauges and problem went away. Still need to replace fuel gauge and install the improve grounding harness. The 60 amp alternator dosnt help either.

I just talked to him the gauge lights work. Thinking might be gauges. Also thinking same thing about breaker #2. He also said he replaced some gauges but instead of using the plastic mounting brackets, he reused the metal ones. I know the gauges can be finicky. Was thinking may have shorted out...

5 min of idling, I am just getting to 120 and that's on a hot day. If he is getting to 240 or more in 5 minutes Its more then a cooling issue. That sounds like the water pump is shot, the radiator or something is impeding the flow of coolant as there isn't any circulation. But still the fan...
I wouldnt recommend that either unless you dont need your fingers. I get the concept all you really need to do is apply some resistance to the fan. If fan cluch is not engaged it will slow down. Don't use your fingers or 2 by 4. Just some thing that will provide resistance.

I was thinking the same thing. Thermostat needs to be replaced. Ensure that you by the Hummve specific high flow one. Also nothing wrong with disconnecting the TDM as part of trouble shooting. If fan turns on then TDM or Thermostatic fan switch are bad. otherwise it's the Thermostat
