On the way to see the deuce the first day I blew a fan belt on the 72 chev 3/4 ton. Lucky I had a spare.
then on my way to install the new turbo I got a flat tire on the same chevy.
It was like someone was testing my patience.
socks and a long chain. there was a pair of USGI socks, not very old, in the tool compartment under the drivers seat of my M35A2C. I tossed them ;)

Ordered 7. 6 of them arrived perfect with 90-95% tread as promised.
#7 was zero air pressure, off its bead and half the tread as the others. Emailed the seller asking for an explanation. Cant wait to put them on...
yea I was pissed at first but in retrospect it made for a good laugh when I saw the guy's face when I rolled back into the yard. All he said was "CHOOO CHOOOO!" then coughed and yelled to shut the truck off. :driver:

Workstar Internationals I believe are optioned with a front drive axle. The military NAVIstar defense line obviously has. Thats what the Canadian military is using now. Big $$ for those parts...

between my M35 and 10-09 there is always something .. well at least 5 things each to do.
Remember.. they are military trucks. rough and tough. gun-tape and 550 cord are tools. ;)
the troubleshoot manual leads me into the block on most of this. that worries me.
do I smell a rebuild? or is it best to find a replacement?

Picked up my A2 2 years ago and it had an audible tick or knock that my M109A3 didnt have. Changed the oil and filters, fuel and filters. still there. So I just drove it...
