IMCDb.org: Chevrolet CUCV M-1009 in movies and TV series
that is my M1009 in the movie Blue State starring Anna Paquin. They stuck a light bar on the roof to make it a Military Police unit... or thats what their thought was anyways..
Thats her in my truck
this guy was selling his house 4 doors down across the street in December and asked me if I could hide the trucks for a month or so while he had people viewing. 8)
good points .. I bought my CUCV and M35 knowing they would eventually need work. they always need something (especially in my climate winters are tough on trucks)
M35 has an engine tick that my M109A3 never had. A diesel shop just charged me 4 hours to tell me they had no idea what the problem...
if that keeps up you will have guys aiming at you just to get money. Sounds like it would be your fault if they started doing that.
This world really needs to harden the **** up. We need to let Darwin and other elements cull the herd ;)
so is your truck all back to normal now Dale?
man that is awesome.. my dream in fact (and apparently a lot of yours too...)
be careful though. I don't want to hear of you getting cut out of that thing.
welcome from Winnipeg.
Friend of mine just brought a 2.5 across last week. PM for details or talk to ODNorth as suggested already.
good luck! its addictive. ;)
they are michelin XL's or XZL's 12.00 x 20 $175 CAD each. +$45 to re-groove the 70% tread back to almost new.
but I can also get 11.00 XZL on a Canadian MLVW rim (proper offset for running single) $250 CAD for tire and rim.
does anyone have a photo of a deuce with 12.00 (45") tires on stock deuce rims. I know it is do-able I am just pondering a few things before I choose which direction to go....
my 1009 is always freakishly loud when it is cold temperature at start up. really clacks and complains until it warms up... from what my shop said it is normal for the 6.2. It also has a smooth noise under load down the highway. Let off the throttle then re-apply she clacks again until back...
does anyone have a picture of Michelin 12.00R20 mounted on factory wheels on a 2.5 ton truck?
*i realize this is the 5 ton forum but found this thread using search, sorry about the little truck question here*
