I've mostly experienced that with the EUC items not showing up in Closed Watchlist, I've rarely had individual items disappear from current watchlist.
I started copying my watchlist and pasting it into a Word document when I figured out that the demil EUC items never show up in the Closed...
We have used our own rollback to recover some if close to us and used towing companies at other sites further away (eg: Herlong, CA) to get things off the base where it is easier to schedule an LTL trucker to pick it up and take to final destination.
The MK48 is definitely a different beast to drive. Other vehicles are a lot more owner friendly, so I think you need to own it for the "cool" factor or have a particular use for it. I have a couple in storage in So Cal that came out of Oceanside in your backyard. We are going to see if they can...
These trailers weigh 18,000+ pounds versus 10,000-11,000 pounds for the typical weight of commercial trailer. This really cuts down on your payload capacity if you need to stay legal. AS Jatonka said in post #7, they are built very stout. We bought one to move heavy loads of steel casing off...
Maybe I missed them, I didn't see any responses to your question. I think you are remembering the S-280 shelter or something similar.

Like steelypip I had to do some research a while ago because we were having repeated failures on a new rig where the hydraulic cylinders were breaking the four 5/8ths grade 8 bolts that held one end to the rig. A couple of things we learned seem relevant here. 1. FASTENAL is one of the largest...
When the Deuce is grinding up a hill is when the fan clutch should be kicking the fan on since you will be pulling near maximum power and not much speed for airflow over the radiator. On the civilian trucks I've driven (300-500horsepower), the amount of noise when the fan kicks in makes me think...
After reading this thread earlier today I saw the picture below of a 2013 Forest Service fire truck that rolled. It had hardly any miles on it.
I don't know what the center of gravity or rollover characteristics are on this MRAP, but I'd bet it is very different than anything the department...
I don't know about the M936, but I have some of the M916A1 with 45,000 pound winches and we use many different hydraulic winches in the drilling business. The Unit Maintenance Manual TM 9-2320-363-20-1 for the M916A1 didn't have anything, but in the more comprehensive Direct & General Support...
Surplus ship sold on GSA 2012
A friend who thinks I get a little carried away with military surplus sent me this back in April 2012. This was built in 1985- who knows what's under development now.

I use these for water trucks. Bought the last one in GL sale a few months ago aound $21,000 - it had 200 miles since overhaul.
Looking for an alternator for a different M916A1 if anyone knows of a source. The NSN for alternator is 6115013291671.
OK, I'll be calling them tomorrow & I'll keep you posted.
I may have someone from Rancho Cordova going there tomorrow to pick up my stuff. If so, I'll have them do some recon with photos since contacting buyer & getting response will take time (assuming TNT is willing to contact buyer).
