how do i find and get into auctions?

Go on GL's website, each site will have some kind of contact into., call or email and leave a message about which items you would like to preview and most likely they will get back to you for time and place. Note some locations have NO previews. You're not going to "find" your own parts unless...

GSA Auction NJ 11/18 16 CUCVs

Didn't think we were supposed to post live auction links. As for a parts truck? Running parts trucks yesterday went as low as $1100.00 so with GL anyone's guess is good.

    CUCV Cash for Clunkers

Spotted this M1009 in Joe's EZ pull today. Since the picture has been taken I've saved the hood (for myself) driver's door panel and steering wheel. As you can see the rear is already gone as is the trans, transfer case, starter, glow plug harness, alternators but it still has the engine and...

Another one: WTB NOS Dashboard Cover

Chevy/GMC did use this color in civilian trucks as I have a Scottsdale with the same color dash pad and seat. Best luck I've had for finding dash pads and seats is from c30 wrecks/junkers in the salvage yards, especially plumbers trucks. Most were garage kept and have dashes that had minimum...

Trouble getting access to broken starter bolt

Latest CUCV from Memphis auction also had a broken starter bolt. Dropped front d/s, removed flywheelcover, drilled pilot hole with cordless drill, and as I was backing out the drill bit, along came the blasted broken bolt too! Who says you can't get lucky once in a while?!
