Unfortunately I don't have my TM nearby, but i'm sure that someone will chirp in soon on this. Should be about 9' tall, around 20' long, and weight should be somewhere around 12,500lbs.
Yes, that is an M35 heater and it is mounted correctly. There is a access hole in the hood on the drivers side for the intake. I dont think I have seen a correct heater for a m211 in years. They are very rare. I have a spare brand new M35 heater that I am looking to get rid of if anyone is...
I think it was the 8th transportation group. I'm not 100%, but i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong. It was for identification purposes though.
I am a CARC paint dealer and sell gallons for $69 if anyone is interested in getting the real stuff. It is not more hazardous than the epoxy and urathane paints used on cars and trucks on the commercial side. Main thing is use a resperator and follow all the safety rules and you will be fine.
That is a canadian hardtop with the window which is fairly rare. Also I believe that it is an M135 that they just added duels to. The tailgate is extremely rare one being an early version where the top part actually forms the step before the footman loops. It looks rough, but definately...
I sell brand new baldwin fuel and oil filters for the M35a2. My set consists of 1 primary fuel, 2 secondary fuel, 2 oil filters, and 2 of the correct gaskets for the fuel filters. My set is $30.20 plus shipping to you. PM me if anyone is interested as I still have a few sets left over from...
I cheated and bought a used CAT forklift. The precision and maneuverability are excellent in the shop. Mine is small enough to fit into our car garage where I do small work, but large enough to lift everything I have. I paid $1000 on ebay for it. You guys might think about something like...
Something that I have noticed with the FDC. On my 3 other deuces with FDC hooked up,they start right up in a second or two. The one truck that the military bypassed the FDC I crank on it and it sputters and dies. About the second cranking with the accellerator pedal pushed down it will start...
I would be very doubtful about the 3500W output on a 1500W gen set. I have 2 of them and mine don't do that good. I know that the 1500W rating is at mountain altitude, but I think someone is giving you a selling ploy which isn't true. They are good gen sets if you want something small to run...
The main difference I think is that Mil spray sells actual CARC and Rapco sells enamel. I have used rapco on tons of things and don't have a bad thing to say. Mark is an excellent guy to deal with. If you want actual new CARC, I sell it for $70 a gallon new production. PM me if you are...
I believe kenny or someone here towed a shelter down to florida that way. I'm not 100% sure on that though. Take a tape measure and measure it out, i'm pretty sure that it does work though.
I'm pretty sure I have one on my spare cab at home. Right now I am in south america with my guard unit and won't be home until the 20th of July. If you can wait that long, I should be able to hook you up.
I can guarentee you that they use diesel because just 20 minutes ago I just helped the cooks refill ours that we are using down in Suriname. That is what we are eating out of everyday down here on the base camp. I will get some pictures for you guys of the unit we have, but I can't post them...
What makes me mad is how we are charged for an SF-97 when GSA gives them to you with the vehicle. That seems illegal to me because that is important government documentation that is being withheld from us. That is like a bank trying to charge you for your monthly statements. I really would...
Max,
Glad you got the torque rod alright. Definately put some penetrating oil on the old torque rod and let set for awhile, it will help greatly. A large hammer as someone said will be the best tool for removing the old one. Let me know if there is anything else you need.
